You may ask, what is a reanimated collab? Well, it’s easy! A lot of animators team up to reanimate a certain episode of a show which the host chooses. I chose one of the most important animations during the golden age of animation, Red Hot Riding Hood! Created by the legendary Cartoon King of the Golden Age of Toons, Tex Avery! For those who appreciate the toons of old and the history of animation, please join to recreate one of Tex’s Greatest Cartoons; All artists and animators are welcome, it’s your chance to shine! ⭐️ We have 99 Scenes at the Ready and thew Deadline for the ReAnimated is on Tex Avery's Death Date August 26th 2020 (if we need more time then it will be released on Feb 26th 2021, his Birthday)

How to Apply?

If you are interested in joining this collab, you will need to send an email with the subject ‘RHRH Application Username’ without the quotes to redhotreanimated@gmail.com. The email must contain these things:

1. Your animation portfolio. I’ll be picking a scene for you based on your animation experience. If you don’t have a portfolio, that’s OK. Beginners are welcome if they try and give it their best shot! Just clarify that in the email.
2. Specify the scene that you want. Tell me how long you want your scene to be. We have scenes ranging from 1 to 15 seconds or maybe even a bit more. Type what character you want to be featured in your scene, if you want a scene with lip sync, action, etc.
3. What kind of animation will you make? 2D, 3D, stop-motion, etc.
4. Your name that will appear in the credits. It’s important that you don’t make a typo.
5. Your social media. I may or may not credit participants’ social media, so please, send it just in case I decide to do so.

Well, awesome! If you’ve sent the email you just have to wait till I respond to you. It may take a little while if there will be a lot of submissions, but I will definitely respond within a week. Now, onto the more complicated part.

What to Do When You Get a Reply?

In my email, I will also include these points to make it more clear, because this is very important. So, what should you do?

1. Join the Discord link for the server of this collaboration. I’ll send it to you via email, once you get accepted. This is a must do. You have to be in the server.
2. Start working on your scene. The due date is August 26th 2020 (Date of Tex Avery’s Death) If you are not able to do the animation 2 weeks before just let me know, I can give you more time.
3. Video format: .mov, .mp4.
4. Allowed frames per second for the animation: 12 fps, 24 fps.
5. Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels. 720p is not allowed.
6. Name the file ‘RHRH_###’. Replace the hashtags with your scene number. For example, RHRH_1 or RHRH_48. 
7. Don’t include OCs or other characters that are not from Warner Bros/MGM. You can make little references to some video games, but don’t overdo it, please.
8. Don’t include gore, racism, sensual content, sex references, etc. Please, this is a kids’ show.
9. Don’t include a logo/watermark. I’m going to add it.
10. Do not trace. It is not allowed, we want to reanimate Red Hot Riding Hood in different styles that are creative and unique, so please, don’t trace.
11. Stay true to the scene that you were provided with. You can have fun with the scenes, but don’t make drastic changes. You can change it, but not that much that the scene will be unrecognisable or completely different.
12. Be creative and have fun! Have fun, that’s the key. A good example is Kirby Reanimated and the Dover Boys ReAnimated.
13. Send your finished scene to the same email with the subject ‘RHRH Scene Submission’. Don’t include the quotes.

Additional Info

The finished collab will be released on my YouTube channel (JacobTurtlez). It will also be uploaded on Newgrounds and Vimeo. Feel free to post your progress on Twitter! Just don’t forget the hashtag #RedHotReanimated and @HotReanimated. You can also post your scene on YouTube or any other social media.

HIYAA!!! This is the Bold King Cole aka LuckoDaStars Speaking.

i have finally made the first episode of brawl in the family. It has been a long time since I upload an animation here. And hopefully it's a lot better equality than the last couple of things I made in the past. I look forward to seeing what the journey lies ahead.
